I love simple. Easy and yummy. And this chicken salad is just that. This is hands down my favorite chicken salad. 5-ingredients and its done.
I remember the little lady at church who would make this Chicken Salad and bring it on days we would have food. It quickly became my favorite. I love to make it for sandwiches, eat it with Ritz crackers or even cucumbers. Which is so refreshing especially in the Summertime.
Whether I make it for my family, birthday parties or whatever the occasion everybody always loves this chicken salad.
Chop your apple. Chop your walnuts. Slice your grapes in quarters. Mix the mayonnaise. I always make sure to mix the apple, grapes, and mayonnaise first then add the chicken so it is evenly distributed.
Shred your chicken. Mix it all together and you’re done.
It’s best when chilled in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Simple Chicken Salad
- 1 Chopped apple
- 1/2 Cup Quartered green grapes
- 1/2 Cup Chopped Walnuts
- 1/2 Cup Mayo
- 1 12.5 oz Canned Chicken
- Chop your apple and walnuts with a chopper. Slice your grapes in quarters (or however you prefer). Mix the apples, walnuts, and grapes together. Add mayo. Mix well.
- Shred chicken and mix with the rest of the ingredients.
- You can enjoy it right away but it is best when chilled in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes. Serve on bread, crackers or even cucumbers.
